Twenty years ago, Henderson, Nevada was a sleepy desert community, and Desert Hills Plastic Surgery Center was a brand-new practice opening in Del Webb Medical Plaza. Now, we are the longest-residing practice in our office park, and Henderson has developed into a bustling small city. We are honored and humbled to have grown alongside the community we call home.
“It is hard to believe that 20 years have passed since the founding of Desert Hills Plastic Surgery Center,” said Dr. Hayley Brown, our board-certified plastic surgeon. “I am grateful to have been a part of that from the beginning.”
For Dr. Brown, the 20th anniversary of Desert Hills Plastic Surgery Center is the culmination of a heartwarming journey that began when she was a child. She was raised in a family of physicians and exposed to numerous medical fields as a kid. Her passions included visual art, creating with her hands, and science. Plastic surgery was the only medical field that merged all those interests.
Dr. Brown finished her undergraduate studies in 1990 and earned her medical degree in 1994. In 2000, she founded Desert Hills Plastic Surgery Center. Since then, her husband, Dr. Steven Brown, has practiced by her side as Desert Hills Plastic Surgery Center’s private, board-certified anesthesiologist.
In 2000, Dr. Hayley began as the solo practitioner and plastic surgeon at the center. When women want a surgeon who will not only deliver the aesthetic results they desire but also understand their unique needs and goals, they go to Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown can empathize with her female patients’ experiences because she has gone through them, too.
