Top 5 Breast, Body and Face Goals for 2019

Can you believe it? The year 2019 is less than a month away. We encourage you to meet with board-certified Las Vegas plastic surgeon Dr. Hayley Brown. With many years in practice, Dr. Brown can help you build a treatment plan. What will be the top cosmetic concerns in 2019? We’ve outlined several we think will be on people’s minds next year, based on what our patients are telling us.

1. Tightening a Post-Baby Tummy

After pregnancy, diastasis recti is common. Diastasis affects your rectus abdominis muscles, which are the muscles overlying your abdomen. Pregnancy stretches these muscles, sometimes to the point that they are separated, leaving a gap between the muscles on either side of your belly button.

A tummy tuck can repair diastasis recti, which is otherwise difficult to reverse. In fact, crunches and running can make the condition worse! These exercises tend to stretch the connective tissue and worsen the separation by tightening the muscles. For some women, the muscles heal themselves several months after pregnancy, once hormones normalize. But for others, a tummy tuck may be the right way to get a tighter, flatter core back.

2. Sculpting the Frame of the Body after Weight Loss

If you’ve lost weight and put in the work to get in shape, it can be really frustrating to see the stubborn pockets of fat that remain. Areas of pesky fat commonly include the belly, hips, thighs, back and upper arms. Liposuction is a good match for this body issue. While not a method of losing further weight, liposuction effectively destroys and eliminates select fat cells on specific areas. And those fat cells that are removed are gone for good!

3. Preventing and Reversing Facial Signs of Aging

Visible signs of aging on your face are basically unavoidable, although you can delay and lessen facial aging with great skin care and protection, such as protecting your skin from UV damage. In fact, one study concluded that UV damage is responsible for about 80 percent of visible aging!

Here are a few of the aesthetic treatments that prevent and reverse signs of aging and other damage:

The face is important for communication, expression, and feeling confident and youthful.

4. Enhancing Breasts to Look and Feel Your Best

Rejuvenating and enhancing your breasts is all about creating the proportions and bust that you feel is the truest expression of yourself. Whether you want larger breasts, smaller breasts, rounder breasts, lifted breasts or an overall improved breast appearance, Dr. Brown can help you decide if one of the following breast surgeries is right for you:

Your breast results should look the way you want them to, and Dr. Brown ensures that is the case. Some women prefer a natural, subtle look; others want a rounder, almost artificial or fake look. Some want something in between. Please take a peek at Dr. Brown’s patient gallery to see examples of the surgical results.
